The names are there, the names of the ministers who delivered God’s word to those faithful Lutherans who trekked westward to settle in Southwestern Ohio.

In many cases there are only the names and dates of service.  For the most part, the records tell nothing, or very little, about their background, accomplishments; there is little available of any of their personal thoughts and feelings.
